All levels of English are welcome.
The award-winning project runs for 12 weeks and takes place at Contact, Oxford Road, Manchester, M15 6JA, between Wednesday 10 September and Saturday 6 December.

Wednesday 10 September 5.30pm – 8pm
Then every Wednesday between 5.30pm and 8pm until Wednesday 26 November
Sharing
We will rehearse on Saturday, 6 December, between 10:30am and 2:30pm, and then perform our work for friends and family that afternoon between 3:30pm and 5:00pm.
Sonic Stories is entirely free to join, with your bus tickets are paid for by CAN. And there’s always free food, such as pizza or pasties.
At the Digital Dreams showcase at the end of June, which took place at Manchester Art Gallery, visitors had this to say:
“Joyful…(young people who come to CAN) feel welcome and feel safe.”
Raj, CAN trustee and former youth worker
“I learned drawing. When I came here (to the UK), I didn’t do drawing as we didn’t go to school…I learned how to communicate with different people; my English wasn’t very good when I arrived, and this has helped me. I have good memories with my friends”.
Huda – a young person
“We did the tour…we talked about a piece of art…something I’d never do and there were lots of different points of view…inspirational.”
